S'écoule le temps

S'écoule le temps

Concert-performance by six musicians and a painter

Rodrigue Glombard, painting and visual arts

With Karim Touré, percussion and improvisation

Presentation

The Sextet (new version) by Thierry Pécou for flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, cello and piano, a free allusion to the gongs of the Indonesian gamelans, with its tempo changes and ruptures creating a physical sensation of time, is the heart of the concert.

Each musician will play a solo, immediately prolonged by a duet of an improvised commentary with the percussionist Karim Touré, an explorer of world music, jazz and “chanson”, leading to the fascinating sextet.
