Guided by these new inspirations, Pécou reworked Garden of the Sage in order to pay homage to ancient China, turning it into an experimental blend of modern classical, Guqin-driven traditional Chinese, avant garde experimentalism and multimedia video.

An inspirational concert will bring together Chen Leiji, China’s best guqin player with Ensemble Variances, a modern chamber music orchestra from France.
